NewsOtti Pledges to Bring Killers of Banker and 2 Others to Justice in Umuahia Attack
Abia State Governor Alex Otti has vowed that his administration will track down those responsible for the recent attack in Umuahia, which resulted in the deaths of three individuals.
The governor directed the Police and other security agencies to thoroughly investigate the case and bring the perpetrators to justice.
Otti made the statement during a media chat with journalists at Government House, Umuahia. He expressed deep sorrow over the loss of one of the victims, a banker, who was a close friend.
The governor assured residents that his administration is committed to ensuring the security of citizens by providing ongoing support to various security agencies.
“I am deeply aware of the unfortunate incident involving the attack on three individuals. One of the victims was a banker and a close friend’s younger brother,” Otti said.
“I have instructed that the perpetrators of this heinous act be apprehended. The Police are working tirelessly to bring the culprits to justice.”
Two weeks ago, a popular banker in Umuahia was fatally shot by unknown assailants, reportedly attempting to kidnap him, along with the killing of two other individuals in Umuahia South LGA.
