Otti is a Prodigal Son, Will Return to APC – Festus Keyamo
Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, has expressed confidence that Abia State Governor Alex Otti will eventually return to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Keyamo made the statement during a press briefing in Abuja on Thursday, describing Otti as a “prodigal son” who has temporarily strayed but will find his way back to the APC.
He emphasized the strong ties between Otti and key APC figures, noting that the governor’s policies and developmental strides align with the party’s principles.
“Governor Alex Otti is like a prodigal son. He is doing well, and we are proud of his efforts to transform Abia State. But let me assure you, he will come back to the APC because that is where he belongs,” Keyamo said.
The minister also highlighted the APC’s openness to welcoming former members who share the party’s vision, urging other political actors to focus on collaboration for national development rather than partisanship.
Keyamo’s remarks have sparked conversations within political circles, with many speculating on the potential political realignment in Abia State.
